Psychedelica of the Black Butterfly is a visual novel that launched on November 15, 2018 as a complete, self-contained story experience. The only post-launch release was a bonus content DLC on February 11, 2019, consisting of the original soundtrack, wallpaper, and digital artbook — supplemental extras rather than new story content. There has been no developer communication of any kind since that February 2019 DLC announcement, no roadmaps, no announced expansions, and no unreleased DLC on the store. She encounters several young men in the same predicament trapped and missing their memories. To survive they must hunt black butterflies and claim kaleidoscope shards from the horrific monsters surrounding them.

A mini game lets players unlock additional plot elements.
