PumPum 2 launched on March 31, 2023 and received three paid DLC packs after release: Girls DLC #1 (June 23, 2023), Girls DLC #2 (October 13, 2023), and a Wallpapers DLC (November 10, 2023), alongside a Soundtrack DLC on launch day. All four DLC items have shipped with no unreleased entries remaining in the store listing. The developer's November 10, 2023 post announcing the Wallpapers DLC also revealed they had shifted focus to a new game called Poon Puzzle, describing it as being in early development. This signals that work on PumPum 2's content had concluded. Subsequent posts from March and April 2024 were limited to bug fixes and Steam Deck compatibility — no new content for PumPum 2 was announced or teased. The last developer communication of any kind was on April 3, 2024, and there have been no posts since. With all DLC shipped, no unreleased content listed, the developer publicly moved on to a new title, and only maintenance-level updates following the final DLC, PumPum 2 appears to have reached the end of its content cycle as of November 10, 2023.

The rules of the game are very simple:

PumPum 2 is a puzzle game, where you need to match blocks of the same color by chaining them together. You'll need to match at least 3 blocks at a time, but the more you can chain together, the better.

A level's goals can be reviewed on the left side of a screen. Once the goals have been met, you will unlock the next animation.
