Evaluation

Putt-Putt®: Pep's Birthday Surprise is a classic children's adventure game originally developed by Humongous Entertainment and re-released on Steam on June 6, 2014. The game was published to Steam by Night Dive Studios, a company known for preserving and re-releasing classic titles. It launched as a complete, self-contained product with no DLC or post-launch content cycle. The only post-launch activity consisted of a single maintenance update on August 18, 2014, which added DirectX 9.0c auto-installation and Dutch language support. There have been no developer communications of any kind since August 18, 2014, no DLC has ever been listed, and no future content has ever been announced. This is a finished, standalone game that shipped complete and received one small technical/localization patch shortly after launch.
