Pyre launched on July 25, 2017 as a complete, story-driven party RPG from Supergiant Games. In the months following launch, the developer shipped two notable free updates: the "True Nightwing" update on September 28, 2017 (adding a new challenge campaign mode and bonus soundtrack content), and a multi-language localization update on December 22, 2017 (adding Chinese, Russian, German, French, and Spanish translations). In that same December post, Supergiant explicitly stated they were not planning translations into any additional languages, signaling that post-launch support for Pyre had wound down.
Since December 2017, there have been no further updates, announcements, or developer communications directed at Pyre specifically. The studio's news posts from 2019 onward focus exclusively on their next games — Hades (announced for Steam Early Access in August 2019, launched v1.0 in September 2020) and Hades II (announced in December 2022). Supergiant has publicly stated they work on one main project at a time, and their full attention has been on those titles.
The DLC list contains only the original soundtrack, which released alongside the game on launch day. There are no unreleased DLC items, no season pass, and no roadmap pointing to future content. The game launched as a self-contained, narrative-complete product, and all post-launch additions were minor quality-of-life and accessibility improvements that have since concluded. Pyre is a finished game.
