Pyrene launched on September 13, 2024 and received two major free content updates: a Hard Mode patch on February 10, 2025, and a large Brittany-themed expansion on June 7, 2025 adding 5 new characters, 4 new biomes, 120+ cards, and other content. In that June 7, 2025 post, the developer stated this would "probably be the final update on Pyrene" before discussing their next project.
On September 13, 2025 (the one-year anniversary), the developer confirmed they are working on a mobile version of Pyrene and promised an announcement before the end of 2025. However, today's date is October 1, 2026 — well past that promised window — and no mobile announcement or mobile-related news post has appeared. The October 2025 announcement of the studio's next PC game (BEKI, Do You Copy?) makes no mention of Pyrene's mobile version and confirms the team's focus has shifted entirely to their new project.
Given that the "end of 2025" window for a mobile announcement has passed with no follow-up, and the developer explicitly stated the June 2025 update would be their final update for Pyrene, the PC game's content is complete. The mobile version was a tentative plan that was never formally announced or confirmed as delivered, and the silence since September 2025 on that front — combined with the developer's stated conclusion of PC updates — indicates no further content for the existing Steam product is forthcoming.
