Rayman Origins launched on Steam on March 29, 2012 as a complete, self-contained 2D platformer with no post-launch content cycle. On July 16, 2026, Ubisoft posted a news item announcing that a remastered version — "Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition" — has been produced and bundled into a separate product called *Rayman Legends Retold* (a different Steam application).
