Evaluation

Recycling Center Simulator launched on October 2, 2024 and has received consistent major content updates since then. Three major updates have shipped post-launch: a large content update on November 18, 2024 (new truck, new areas, new gameplay systems); a free major update on March 26, 2025 (organic waste as a sixth waste type, new machines, new production chains); and the E-Waste DLC on February 20, 2026 (new production chain, two new maps, specialized electronic waste machinery). Feature patches and bug fixes have been delivered throughout this period as well. Most significantly, on August 21, 2026 — just one day before today's assessment date — the developer officially announced that a free co-op multiplayer update is coming to the game. The post states that development is "well underway" and that the update will be free for all owners. No exact release date has been given, but the announcement is concrete and unambiguous: new content is actively being developed and planned for release.
