Red Gate has been in Early Access since May 20, 2019 — over seven years. The developer, a solo indie creator (uora), has continued to push updates throughout this period, most recently in August 2024 with Update 0.5.0.0, which added a character leveling system and game clear conditions. Follow-up bug fix patches on August 27–28, 2024 addressed issues introduced by that update.
However, in June 2020, the developer formally announced that the completion date had been changed to "undetermined," citing uncertainty about the game's direction and scope. This was a clear signal that a 1.0 release was not on any defined schedule at that time. While development has demonstrably continued after that notice, the developer has never walked back or superseded that statement with a new completion target.
Update cadence has been irregular and sparse — significant gaps exist between updates (notably over two years between the June 2022 and August 2024 updates), which reflects the solo development nature of the project. The most recent developer communication of any kind was on August 28, 2024, and there has been no news since. Given the history of long gaps and the still-unresolved indefinite postponement notice from 2020, whether a 1.0 release is actively being worked toward remains unclear.

Another country, having heard the old lore, has sent an army in search of the “power to destroy everything” that has been passed down through the generations in this country.He must take on a great destiny to protect this country.
To save the people of his country, he must pass through the gate, gain power, and fight the enemy army.
But...Power comes at a price.
Still young, he passed through the gate without hesitation to save his people, but he did not know that.
You will be the new recruit, and you will go through two worlds, the world beyond the gate and the world where he exists.
You will defeat the enemy army and save the people.
There are powers and items you gained in that world and leveled up in this world. The objective is to use them to bury enemy armies and save people who need help. When you save someone, a soul is added to the vessel. There are 8 vessels in total.
The objective is to receive soul points from special inhabitants and convert them into a powerful force. Robots are watching you and will eliminate you if they discover you. You can ask the inhabitants and animals about the world.
Soul points remain the same. Meat points are converted into money. This can be filled up to 8 containers. Soul points are converted into power-ups and meat points are converted into coins to purchase items. It is up to the player how to allocate them.
This is where upgrades and item purchases are made using points earned in that world. It is also the only save point in the game.
