Evaluation
ReEarth launched on July 26, 2024. After release, the developer (operating under the handle "CrazyDog") shipped a series of feature updates: July 31, 2024; September 6, 2024; October 18, 2024; December 18, 2024; and July 23, 2025. These updates added new content including a new unit (Wheeled Tank Destroyer), a new enemy type (Killer Gunworm), and a full power system for base construction, alongside balance changes and bug fixes.
The most recent developer communication was the July 23, 2025 update. As of today, September 24, 2026, that is over 14 months without any update or communication. Looking at the historical update pattern, the gaps between updates were: roughly 5 weeks, 9 weeks, 6 weeks, and then 7 months — before the current silence of over 14 months. Even accounting for the longer gap between December 2024 and July 2025 (about 7 months), the current silence of 14+ months is double that largest gap, and well beyond 6 months of total silence. No new content has been announced, no DLC is listed on the store, and there is no developer statement about future plans. The update pattern has not sustained itself into 2026. The game appears to have concluded its post-launch update cycle with the July 23, 2025 patch.
