REFLEXIA Prototype ver.

REFLEXIA Prototype ver. launched on August 31, 2022 as a free-to-play visual novel, and shipped two DLC items (a soundtrack and an original graphics pack) on January 11, 2023 — both of which have been released. The base game itself is complete and has received several translation updates since launch. However, the developer (MAHOUMAIDEN) has been actively communicating plans for additional REFLEXIA-related projects. A full remake — titled REFLEXIA: THE ARCHETYPES' ROOM OF THREE WALLS — was announced in February 2023 and has its own Steam page. A remaster of the Prototype ver. was also announced in September 2023. Both projects have faced repeated delays: the remake was first delayed indefinitely in February 2023 due to developer burnout, then reaffirmed with a 2024 release target in February 2024, and as of August 8, 2025, confirmed still in development. In that August 2025 post, the developer disclosed financial difficulties and announced that two shorter projects — the first being MARRY THE WITCH, planned for late August or early September 2025 — would be released before the remake to support ongoing development. No updates have appeared since that post, which was over ten months before today's date of June 21, 2026. It is unknown whether MARRY THE WITCH released as planned or what the current status of the remake and remaster is. Given that the developer has made concrete, ongoing commitments to the remake and remaster — projects directly tied to the REFLEXIA universe — but has gone silent for an extended period without confirming whether those commitments are still on track, the situation is uncertain.
