ReignMaker launched on April 16, 2014 and received two free content updates in its first few months: Policy Popularity on May 9, 2014 and Resource Rampage on July 3, 2014. Developer activity then wound down, with the last substantive update to the game itself arriving in August 2014. Subsequent posts from Frogdice shifted focus to their new MMO, Stash, announced in August 2014 and fully launched on September 16, 2017. In December 2018, Frogdice announced a Kickstarter for ReignMaker 2, a separate sequel project. There have been no updates, patches, or developer communications about ReignMaker 1 since 2018, and none of the posts after August 2014 indicate any new content being added to the original game. The store description describes a fixed, complete feature set with no mention of upcoming content. ReignMaker shipped as a finished product and received a couple of post-launch quality-of-life updates before development concluded. The game is complete.

ReignMaker is a match-3 game with tower defense, city building, and political strategy elements. From your capital city you lead your Kingdom against the invading Void Army that threatens all life.
Your match-3, tower defense, and strategy skills will determine the fate of your armies, but the many political decisions you make as a leader affect the story and the culture of your kingdom. As your capital city improves, you will have access to more powerful spells, mightier elite troops, and better battlefield gear and armaments. Along the way you will also earn achievements, complete quests, and fill your Bestiary with enemies.
