Reigns: Three Kingdoms launched on Steam on January 11, 2024. Following launch, Nerial shipped two patches — a bug fix and feature update on January 19, 2024 addressing critical issues like the Cao Cao quest bug and adding a game data reset feature, and a second update on April 8, 2024 adding 16 Steam achievements and quality-of-life improvements. No DLC has been announced or listed for this title. The last communication specific to this game was that April 8, 2024 update.
Nerial's January 19, 2024 post mentioned they were "working on even more" and would have "rocking news to announce soon" — but this teaser was plausibly fulfilled by the March 2024 announcement and subsequent launch of Reigns: Beyond (a different game in the series), and later Reigns: The Witcher (released February 25, 2026). Neither of those is content for Three Kingdoms itself. The studio has shifted its focus to new entries in the Reigns franchise rather than expanding this title.
There are no unreleased DLC listings, no roadmap promises specific to Three Kingdoms, and no developer communication about additional content for this game since April 2024. The game appears to have launched as a complete, self-contained entry in the series with post-launch polish patches, and development has concluded.
