RetroMania Wrestling launched on February 25, 2021 and has maintained a consistent pattern of content additions ever since. The game received a major free content update in April 2022 adding wrestler Chris Bey and new game mechanics, followed by DLC Update #2 in February 2024 which completed the Story Mode with multiple endings and added more wrestlers and mechanics. Most recently, Patch 5 was released on November 23, 2025 — described as the largest patch since the DLC launch — adding new wrestlers, arenas, game modes, and Macho Man Randy Savage to the Legends Pack DLC. The store description continues to advertise "more wrestlers to come," signaling the developer's ongoing intent to expand the roster.
