Return NULL - Episode 1

Return NULL is a planned 3-part point-and-click adventure series. Episode 1 launched on April 2, 2015, and Episode 2 followed on October 9, 2015 as paid DLC. The store description explicitly states this is "the first in a 3 part Point-and-Click Adventure series," and the Episode 2 launch post instructed players to "stay tuned for upcoming information on Episode 3." On May 7, 2018, the developer made Episode 1 free to play, explaining that "the game has released 2 episodes out of a planned 3 episode series" and expressing hope that more players experiencing the game would "demonstrate interest in the continuation of the series." This is the last known communication from the developer. Episode 3 has never been released, and no update, announcement, or cancellation has been posted since May 7, 2018 — more than eight years ago. The trilogy remains incomplete. The developer's 2018 post framed Episode 3's future as contingent on player interest, but no follow-up has ever confirmed whether that interest materialized or whether development was abandoned. Anyone interested in the complete story should be aware that the concluding episode appears to be indefinitely stalled with no recent developer activity.
