RiME launched on May 26, 2017 as a complete, self-contained single-player puzzle adventure. Following launch, the developer (Grey Box) released a handful of bug-fix patches addressing performance issues, hardware compatibility, and VR initialization problems — the last of which was Patch 1.04 on July 18, 2017. The only DLC ever released is a soundtrack pack (June 1, 2020), which is supplemental content rather than gameplay expansion. There are no unreleased DLC items listed on the store, no developer announcements of future content, no roadmaps, and no post-launch updates of any kind after July 2017. The game's store description describes a finished, self-contained experience with no suggestion of ongoing content. All developer communications after launch were focused solely on technical fixes. The game shipped as a complete product and all post-launch activity concluded by mid-2017.
