Robot Daycare

Robot Daycare is a free-to-play visual novel that launched on September 3, 2021 as a remastered version of a jam game. The store description frames it as a complete, self-contained experience with a defined runtime (1–2 hours) and two distinct endings — no episodic content, season passes, or post-launch story expansions were ever announced or delivered. Both DLC items (an art book and a soundtrack) released alongside the base game on launch day, and no further DLC has been added since. The developer has continued to maintain the game with quality-of-life patches — Steam Deck certification in November 2022, a Russian translation in December 2021, a German translation in October 2024, and additional resolution and controller improvements in July 2025 — but none of these constitute new story content. These updates reflect ongoing care for the existing product rather than expansion of its scope. The developer's more recent announcements (including their new game spookY2K, which launched May 1, 2026) confirm that KigyoDev's creative focus has moved to new projects. There is no indication that any additional content for Robot Daycare is planned. The game launched as a complete product and remains so.
