Rocket Assault: Downhill Rush

Rocket Assault: Downhill Rush (originally titled Rocket Assault: Black City) graduated from Early Access on May 20, 2023. At that time, the developer — solo developer Giovanni Elgert — stated that the game had reached the quality and content target for a full release, but also expressed excitement about what was to come, specifically mentioning interest in expanding level creation and exploring PVP. In the weeks that followed, two substantial content updates shipped: the FrostBite Update on June 17, 2023 (new ice tracks), and the Downhill Rush track update on June 29, 2023. These updates established a post-launch content cadence. However, June 29, 2023 is also the last recorded developer communication of any kind. No further updates, announcements, or posts have appeared since that date. The developer's own launch statement indicated more content was planned, but that intent has not been followed up with any public communication through June 26, 2026. Given the extended silence and the unresolved promises of further development, the game's ongoing content status cannot be confirmed.
