RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic launched on September 28, 2017 as a remastered compilation of RollerCoaster Tycoon and RollerCoaster Tycoon 2, bundling three expansion packs (Wacky Worlds, Time Twister, and the Toolkit) into a single complete package. The store description presents this as a finished, content-complete product — there are no announced DLC packs, season passes, or roadmaps pointing to future content additions.
Since launch, the developer has continued to maintain the game with patches addressing platform compatibility, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements — notably a macOS compatibility update in April 2025, UI scaling improvements also in April 2025, and a Chinese localization update in March–April 2026. These are maintenance activities, not new content releases. No major content expansions have shipped post-launch, and no future content has been announced for the Steam version.
The game also expanded to new platforms — Nintendo Switch in December 2024 and Apple Arcade in April 2025 — but these are ports of the existing product rather than new content for Steam players. The developer remains active in maintaining the game, but there is no indication that new content is planned or in development for the core game.
