Romancelvania launched on March 7, 2023 as a complete, story-driven side-scrolling action game. Following launch, The Deep End Games shipped a series of post-launch patches: a bug fix hotfix on March 9, another hotfix on March 11, a substantial gameplay overhaul in Patch 1.1 on May 4, 2023, and a navigation map feature in Patch 1.2 on June 27, 2023, with a final camera hotfix on July 7, 2023. The game also earned Steam Deck Verified status, announced on July 6, 2023. These updates focused on polishing, balancing, and quality-of-life improvements to the existing game rather than adding new story content or expanding the game's scope. The only DLC listed is the soundtrack, which released on March 13, 2023. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no announced expansions, no roadmap for future content, and no developer posts after July 7, 2023 — nearly three years of silence as of today, June 25, 2026. The developer's post-launch activity has fully wound down, and the game appears to have shipped as a complete product with no further content planned.
