Evaluation
Romopolis launched on May 18, 2016 as a complete, self-contained casual city-building game. The store description presents a fully defined product: 24 campaign scenarios, custom scenario support, and 22 achievements — all framed as finished features with no mention of additional content on the horizon. No DLC has ever been listed for the game, and no developer posts have announced, teased, or roadmapped any future expansions or content packs.
The developer has continued to maintain the game over the years — most notably with a substantial technical overhaul on April 16, 2024 (v1.4.7), which migrated the game to a new rendering engine, added Apple Silicon support, modernized platform requirements, and added Brazilian Portuguese localization. A further maintenance patch followed on January 23, 2025 (v1.4.8). These updates reflect a developer actively keeping their product compatible and polished, but neither patch introduced or announced new gameplay content. The developer has made no statements about future content plans.
