Evaluation

Rosalie entered Steam Early Access on March 21, 2026 and has been receiving consistent, frequent updates ever since. Since launch, the developer has shipped a series of feature patches — including difficulty modes (April 19), leaderboards (June 1), a photo mode and emotes rework (June 26), split-screen with Remote Play Together support (July 24), a major performance/engine upgrade to Unreal Engine 5.8 (September 5), and a stability and controller support patch (September 30, 2026). The September 30 update — the most recent developer communication — explicitly states: "We're currently working on the next part of the game." This directly confirms that a second map remains in active development. The second map was first announced on May 20, 2026, described as the second half of the originally planned map that will pick up where the first one ends. A Hard difficulty mode was also announced in the April 19 update as coming in a future patch. Both remain undelivered outstanding commitments. Articho Games has maintained a very active communication cadence with no gaps, shipping updates roughly every 4–6 weeks. Development is clearly ongoing and well-communicated, with no signs of slowdown.

About this game

Embark on a quirky road trip as a tourist in a two-seater pedal car! Traverse diverse landscapes where you’ll find yourself taking all the wrong paths. Explore your surroundings and take photos along the path. Solo or as a pair, will you reach the journey's end... or will you roll back down a hill, questioning the very meaning of life?

Communication is key! Each player can only pull the steering lever on their side.
Stronger together. Pedaling and braking is more effective when both pilots are coordinated.
When things get frantic, don't panic. Trying to pull the handbrake or reverse at the same time can lead to disaster!

You steer left, I steer right, what could possibly go wrong? Everything. From mistimed turns to frantic braking, the road to the finish line is paved with hysterical arguments and near-misses. When you are not in sync and your sense of direction fails, your peaceful seaside stroll quickly turns into complete disaster.

While this journey is designed for two, you can absolutely take on the road alone. In solo mode, you’ll have full control of the steering and be the only captain on board... but that also means you’ve only got yourself to blame when things go sideways!

Can't reach the finish line? Don't worry about it. Stop the quadricycle, take a deep breath, and admire the landscape. The journey might be a catastrophe, but at least the postcard will look great.
