ROUNDS launched on April 1, 2021 as a complete 1v1 rogue-lite shooter. Post-launch, the developer has focused on platform expansions and quality-of-life improvements rather than new content: an Xbox release with crossplay and achievements arrived on February 21, 2024, a PlayStation port with additional achievements followed on November 26, 2024, and a Mac version launched on October 1, 2025 alongside a Nintendo Switch port. None of these posts announce new gameplay content (maps, powerups, modes), and there are no unreleased DLC listings on the store. The developer has not published any roadmap or statement indicating further updates are planned. The game's store description already touts 65+ powerups and 70+ maps as its feature set, with no mention of planned additions. The most recent developer communication was on October 1, 2025, and no content has been announced since. With no outstanding commitments, no established major content cadence (zero major content releases since launch), and no developer statement about future updates, the game appears to have shipped as a complete product and has since been ported to additional platforms without expanding its content.
