Evaluation
Royale Island Showdown is a small indie battle royale game developed and published by Logan Thatcher, released on February 10, 2021. The store description presents it as a complete, self-contained experience: a 4-player battle royale FPS where each player is paired with an AI-controlled teammate. There are no DLC listings, no season passes, no battle pass or seasonal content systems described, and no developer news posts or roadmaps indicating planned future content. The developer has made no announcements of expansions, updates, or ongoing development. The game appears to have launched as a finished product with no post-launch content cycle, which is consistent with a solo indie developer releasing a compact, focused game.
