Rumble Arena launched on June 7, 2019 as a free-to-play brawler and has received a steady stream of major updates over the years, including new playable characters (Imoogi, Tonatiuh, Athena, Anubis, Raijin & Fujin), new arenas, a new UI overhaul, and most recently a full Story Mode added on September 28, 2022. In total, the developer shipped 9 major content updates across roughly three years, establishing an active development pattern.
The store description — which still reads "this game is in development" — explicitly lists ongoing plans: new characters, arenas, items, clan battles, and a console version. These commitments remain undelivered.
However, no developer communication of any kind has appeared since September 28, 2022. Given the historical cadence of updates arriving every few months, a silence stretching from late 2022 through June 2026 is a significant departure from what had been a consistent release pattern. There is no post from the developer explaining the pause, announcing a hiatus, or confirming that work is continuing. Whether the studio is still active is unknown.
Evidence
Update 3.2.0 shipped a full Story Mode ('Vengeful Djinn') with 10 missions. This is the last developer communication on record.
Update 2.3 added two new characters (Raijin & Fujin), a tutorial, and gameplay fixes. Confirms ongoing content delivery pattern.

Play real-time online or offline battles. Duke it out in the arena with up to 4 players at the same time! Each hero has their own unique move-set and attacks, giving them all a different fighting style, find the legend or god that fits your combat skills the most and become victorious.
