Evaluation

Rune Teller was developed by a two-person team (CODELIFE Studio) who quit their jobs to build the game. It went through an Early Access period during which the developers shipped regular patches and one major content update — the Dwarf Kingdom on November 23, 2022 — which added the game's final region, end-game content, and a Colosseum mode. On February 9, 2023, the developers published an official release announcement that also served as a farewell message. In it, they stated that both developers were returning to their regular lives — one moving to Canada, the other staying in Korea — and thanked Early Access players for supporting them throughout the journey. The language is unambiguous: this was the team's final communication and marks the deliberate conclusion of the game's development. There has been no developer communication of any kind since February 9, 2023. No new content has been announced or released, no DLC is listed, and the store description contains no references to future updates or a live-service model. The game launched as a complete, finished product on its official release date, with the developer explicitly signing off.
Evidence
Developer farewell post on official release day: both team members announced they were returning to their personal lives, explicitly thanking Early Access users and signing off. This is the last communication from the studio.

About this game

Wake up from the ruins of the magical city of Runas and explore the Runegea. You have to unravel the story of your survival from the dead. If you become a powerful Rune Teller exploring from place to place in the world of Runegea, your story will be concluded at the end.

Travel the World Of the Runegea

Runegea has many regions, including the Eastern Valley, Central Mountain, Dyra Desert, The Frozen Elves' Forest, and the capital King's Mountain. Experience the story of each region and find dungeons. Difficulty will turn into novelty, and novelty will turn into fun.

Go With Your Great Friends

The world of Runegea has many difficulties to travel alone. Find great colleagues and distribute roles. Whatever you do, it will be safer than traveling alone. You can have more fun with your friends.

Create Something From Nothing

The world of Runegea can be a threat to you, but it can also give you a lot. You can do alchemy by gathering herbs, or you can become a blacksmith by mining ore. Enjoy your trip while cooking and eating delicious food that is responsible for your health.

Everything You Do Has Meaning

You can experience growth in every action you play. You will become familiar with your main weapon and your spells will be more powerful than anyone else's. Everyone is the same at the beginning, but the results will vary depending on your intentions.
