RUNGORE

RUNGORE launched out of Early Access on May 16, 2024 as version 1.0, completing the content built during an Early Access period that began in October 2023. The 1.0 release was substantial, adding a final level, New Game+ mode, a new hero, controller support, and achievements. The game then received a significant free update on March 2, 2026 — version 1.1 — which added online co-op for up to four players, two new heroes (Barely Alive Guy and Tijoe Guy), and co-op-specific locations (Jungle, Dungeon, and Swamp). Within that update post, the developers stated: "If you like this mode, we'll add more locations later," signaling openness to continued development based on player reception. The update post also promotes a new unrelated game from the developer, but does not indicate RUNGORE development is ending. The established pattern shows one major post-launch content release approximately 9.5 months after the 1.0 launch. As of October 1, 2026 — roughly 7 months since version 1.1 — we are within that approximate update window. The developer has not made any statement indicating that RUNGORE development is complete, and the conditional promise of additional co-op locations remains unresolved. The only DLC listed is a soundtrack (released November 4, 2024), so there are no unreleased paid content packs to track.
