Russian Warship launched on October 20, 2023 as a self-contained top-down shoot 'em up / tower defense game. In the weeks following launch, the developer released five small patches (versions 1.0.1 through 1.0.5) covering minor bug fixes, rebalancing, and localization additions. The last of these was posted on November 12, 2023. Since then — more than two and a half years as of June 2026 — there has been no developer communication of any kind: no patches, no announcements, no roadmap, and no mention of future content. No DLC has been listed on the store, and the store description makes no reference to planned expansions or ongoing updates. The game appears to have launched as a complete, finished product, with the post-launch activity being limited to polish and localization work typical of a launch window. There is no indication that additional content was ever planned.

It's a top-down shoot 'em up game with tower defense elements. You start at Zmiinyi Island (Snake Island) in the midst of the Black Sea where you find yourself attacked by multiple waves of enemy ships. You need to defend the island, gradually growing your arsenal with new weapons, turrets and upgrades. If you succeed to defend Zmiinyi you can proceed to free other territories and try to win the war.
