Samurai Bringer launched on April 21, 2022 and received post-launch content updates during its first year. The most notable was a free major update on March 10, 2023 that added 25 new Brave Generals, explicitly described as concluding the "Samurai Showdown campaign." Prior to that, a July 28, 2022 update added two new Brave Generals (Minamoto Yoshitsune and Musashibō Benkei) alongside new gameplay systems as part of that same campaign. These represent the game's post-launch content additions.
Since March 2023, the developer's communications have shifted entirely to promoting new games in the Bringer series — Metal Bringer (released March 12, 2025) and Samurai Bringer: Rampage (announced May 10, 2026 for release in 2026). None of these posts announce any new content for Samurai Bringer itself. The March 2023 update's language ("To conclude the Samurai Showdown campaign") signals that the structured content campaign for the game had reached its end. The developer has moved on to new titles, and there are no unreleased DLC listings, no roadmap, and no announcements of further updates for Samurai Bringer.
