Sanfu

Sanfu is a story-driven mystery puzzle RPG that launched on July 28, 2023. The developer confirmed before launch that it is a single-player game with no in-app purchases. The only DLC released is a free original soundtrack that shipped on July 28, 2023 — the same day as the game itself. On July 28, 2025 (the game's two-year anniversary), Shiying Studio posted a development status update confirming they are now focused entirely on a new, unannounced game — not additional content for Sanfu. The post describes early demo work on the new project, shares screenshots, and gives updates on its direction (a light-hearted Chinese fantasy adventure with dual female protagonists). There is no mention of any future patches, DLC, or updates planned for Sanfu itself. The game launched as a complete, self-contained narrative experience, and the developer's communications since launch have reflected that — no roadmaps, no content additions beyond the free OST, and no hints of future Sanfu content. The studio's attention has fully shifted to their next game.
