Sapphire

Sapphire is a Windows desktop customization tool that launched on Steam on September 13, 2025. Since then, the developer (Sionspota) has been actively and consistently updating the software. Three major updates have shipped after launch: the Steam launch update itself (September 13, 2025), a complete core architecture overhaul with a new widget system and visual refresh (December 15, 2025), and the addition of Steam Creative Workshop support for sharing and downloading desktop templates (February 28, 2026). Between and after these milestones, the developer has also published multiple feature patches and bug fix updates, with the most recent post on March 4, 2026. The launch announcement on September 13, 2025 specifically noted that the Creative Workshop was in active development and coming soon — a commitment that was fulfilled with the February 2026 update. The developer has not announced the conclusion of development, and the sustained update cadence suggests ongoing work on the software.
