Satellite is a visual novel that launched on February 23, 2018. Its only DLC, the official soundtrack, was released on July 24, 2018. The developer (7DOTS) has continued to maintain the game over the years — a significant visual overhaul was released on September 4, 2022, adding new character artwork, animations, a characters gallery, and a MacOS port. A small bug fix patch was applied on June 18, 2024, the most recent update on record.
Importantly, the developer's news posts since 2018 have focused almost entirely on promoting and releasing new, separate games (Neuronaut in April 2020, The Heiress of Sorcery in August 2020, Love Death & Veggies in January 2022, Athanasy in April 2022, and CEIBA in November 2023). None of these announcements reference any new content planned for Satellite itself. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no roadmaps, and no developer statements promising future additions to Satellite. The store description presents the game as a complete, self-contained experience with a defined runtime of 4–8 hours. The June 2024 bug fix indicates the developer is still willing to maintain the title, but there is no evidence of any new content in development for it.
