Savior of the Abyss launched on August 12, 2021 as a complete, self-contained horror adventure game with three endings. In the weeks following launch, the developer pushed a series of bug fixes and quality-of-life patches addressing translation issues, puzzle hints, and gameplay bugs. The only post-launch content addition was the French language update on May 3, 2022. There have been no developer communications since May 3, 2022, no announced future content, no unreleased DLC listed on the store, and no roadmap of any kind. The store description describes a finished game with a clear beginning, middle, and end. The game appears to have launched as a complete product and received only maintenance and a localization addition before going quiet.

Savior of the Abyss is an RPG Maker-style horror adventure game about solving riddles using clues from exploring the surroundings.
(It follows the same aspect as Ib, Mad Father, and The Witch's House.)
The goal of the game is to guide the main character, Stella, to the surface of an underground facility.
