Evaluation
Scary School Simulator 2 released on November 30, 2023. The only developer communication on record is a pre-release patch from November 23, 2023 (version 1.6.0), which added Japanese and Chinese subtitles and Chapter 6 — indicating the game was still being finalized ahead of launch. There are no post-launch developer posts, no unreleased DLC, no roadmap, and no announcements of future content. The store description presents the game as a complete experience with a defined narrative goal (escape Sakura High School). With no developer activity after the launch date and no outstanding commitments of any kind, the game appears to have shipped as a finished product and received no further development attention.
