Schein

Schein is a puzzle platformer that released on October 9, 2014. The game shipped as a complete, self-contained story — a father searching for his son in a mystical swamp — with no post-launch DLC, expansions, or additional content releases. The store description makes no mention of planned content, seasons, or updates, and there are no DLC listings of any kind. All 41 developer news posts scanned for this Steam account relate entirely to the developer's other projects — primarily the "Murder Is Game Over" mystery game series and other unrelated titles. None of the posts address Schein's development or announce any content for it. The sole development_status post (July 24, 2024) is a retrospective about the Murder Is Game Over series and mentions plans for a fourth game in that series — it has no bearing on Schein. Schein launched as a finished product in 2014 and has received no post-launch content updates. The developer has moved on to other projects. The game is complete as originally shipped.
