SCHiM launched on July 18, 2024, after more than four years of development. The store description presents it as a complete, self-contained narrative experience with a defined beginning and end — a lost schim finding its way back to its human. There is no mention of DLC, expansions, seasons, or post-launch content plans anywhere in the store or developer communications. Since launch, the developer has remained engaged with the game, shipping two quality-of-life feature patches: a beta in November 2025 and the full release in December 2025 adding a 360° camera and the ability to fast-forward cutscenes. These are polish and accessibility improvements, not new content additions. In April 2025, the developer also permanently reduced the game's price on Steam and for physical editions. None of these communications reference future content or a content roadmap. The game has only one entry in its news history that qualifies as a major content event: the launch itself. No expansions, DLC, or named updates beyond quality-of-life patches have been released or announced. There is no DLC listed on the store.
