SCP: Secret Files launched on September 13, 2022 and is no longer available for purchase on Steam — no purchase options are currently listed on the store.
Shortly after launch, the developer (GameZoo Studio) was actively working on post-launch content. In a November 14, 2022 devlog, they announced a DLC centered on SCP-049, describing it as being in active development with new gameplay mechanics, and mentioned broader ambitions for the series. A feedback collection post from September 14, 2022 also referenced DLC beta access as a reward for selected players.
However, the developer's last recorded communication was on November 22, 2022 — a community update adding player-created content. After that point, no further developer news posts, patches, or announcements appear in the record. The promised SCP-049 DLC was never released, and no explanation for the development going quiet was ever provided. The game has since been removed from sale entirely.

Your Roles
