Crucially, the post states: "We are currently working hard on development for a planned release in 2027" — and thanks players for their "continued support of Sea Fantasy." This is the most recent developer communication, confirming the studio is active as of September 3, 2026. The post also describes plans to include Sea Fantasy's "Fishing System" in the spin-off, showing ongoing connection to the base game's systems. The two major updates between July 2025 and October 2025 were spaced roughly 3–4 months apart. The last major content shipped on October 23, 2025 — now approximately 11 months ago as of today (September 17, 2026).
