Seamspace: Minesweeper launched on August 11, 2025 as a free-to-play game with no microtransactions. The store description explicitly states "Totally free, no microtransactions, no strings attached," presenting it as a complete, self-contained product. There is no DLC, no season pass, and no announced future content of any kind. Following launch, the developer shipped a handful of patches through October 5, 2025: a quality-of-life feature update adding a "Safer Starts" mode (August 12), a bug fix for achievements (August 13), the "No Guess Mode" feature update (September 2), a follow-up bug fix (September 3), a High Contrast Mode and performance update (September 6), and a final performance and security patch (October 5, 2025).
