Security: The Horrible Nights

Security: The Horrible Nights launched on November 12, 2024 and has since received two free DLC packs. The first, "Stories by horror experts," shipped on January 14, 2025, featuring stories written by well-known horror content creators. The second, "Tales from the fans," shipped on March 25, 2025, incorporating 106 fan-submitted ideas turned into 8 new horror stories. In the March 25, 2025 post announcing the fan DLC, the developers (John & Maria of Professional Villains) stated clearly: "We will now focus on our next game, Unsound Love." They added that they need a break from the game and would only consider a "very special extra DLC" if community interest proves strong — framing any further content as highly conditional rather than planned. This was reinforced on June 18, 2025, when they posted again about the game's soundtrack while reiterating that the studio is now working on Unsound Love. All three listed DLC items are released, no unreleased content is listed on the store, and the developers have explicitly communicated that their focus has shifted to a new project. The game launched as a complete horror anthology and received the two DLC packs it had announced from the start. As of the last developer communication on June 18, 2025, development on this game is considered finished.
