Serre

Serre is a short visual novel (under one hour by the developer's own description) that was originally created in 2017 and officially launched on Steam on April 15, 2025. The store description explicitly states that choices don't affect the story and that the game is "not even an hour long," framing it clearly as a self-contained, finished experience. Both available DLC items — an artbook and a soundtrack — launched on the same day as the game itself, and no unreleased DLC exists. The developer's most recent post, from June 6, 2026, announces a demo for an entirely new game (Truth Scrapper), which signals that insertdisc5 has moved on to new projects. There is no indication of any planned updates, expansions, or additional content for Serre. The game shipped as a complete product on April 15, 2025.
