Shadow Warrior 3 launched on March 1, 2022 and received a series of post-launch patches through mid-2022, adding Hardcore difficulty (April 2022), Hero Mode and Chapter Select (May 2022), and New Game Plus (June 2022). On February 1, 2023, Flying Wild Hog announced Shadow Warrior 3: Definitive Edition — a comprehensive overhaul bundling all previously released additions together with a new Survival Mode and additional content. The Definitive Edition launched on February 16, 2023 as a free update to all existing owners. The store page is now branded as the Definitive Edition and explicitly describes it as the complete package of features for the game. No further content has been announced since the Definitive Edition launched, and there are no unreleased DLC items listed.
