SharpShooter3D launched on July 14, 2023 and received a small patch on August 10, 2023, at which point the developer posted that players should "expect bigger updates with new locations and bosses." This constitutes an explicit promise of future content. However, the only subsequent developer activity was the addition of Steam trading cards, backgrounds, and badges on April 18, 2024 — a platform feature addition, not a content update. There have been no further posts, patches, or announcements since April 18, 2024, which is over two years ago. The promised new locations and bosses have never shipped, and the developer has provided no follow-up communication about their status. Given the unfulfilled content promise and the prolonged silence well beyond any reasonable development window, it's unclear whether the planned content is still in development.
