Evaluation
Shift launched on August 16, 2016 as a self-contained puzzle game. Following launch, Black Lime Studio issued a small number of maintenance and feature patches: a bug fix on October 16, 2016, a Russian localization update on December 18, 2016, and a second update adding Spanish language support on January 12, 2017. After that final update, no further patches or content communications were made for Shift itself. From mid-2017 onward, the developer's news posts were exclusively announcements for other titles they were building (ROMBY, Bad Day, GG Puzzler), with the last of these posted on May 15, 2019. The store description describes a complete, self-contained puzzle game with no mention of future content, seasons, or expansions. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no roadmap, and no developer statements promising additional content. The game launched as a finished product and received only light post-launch polish before the developer moved on to other projects.
Evidence
Developer announced yet another new game (GG Puzzler). Most recent communication from the studio; no mention of any Shift updates.
Update #2 added Spanish language and fixed minor bugs. This is the last update to Shift itself.
