Shop Heroes

Shop Heroes is no longer available for purchase on Steam — the store listing has no purchase options, making this a delisted game. The store description itself explains why: Cloudcade has released a sequel called Shop Legends, and the original Shop Heroes page has been repurposed to direct players to that new game. The description promotes Shop Legends as containing "all of the features that the classic game offers and much much more," effectively confirming that the original game has been retired in favor of its successor. Developer activity on the original game tells the same story: the last meaningful developer news post was a 5-year anniversary celebration on July 5, 2020, and no updates of any kind have been posted since. The game's active update history ran from its August 2016 release through mid-2020, with regular major content drops (including Trade Wars in February 2019, Dragons in August 2019, and anniversary events in 2020), but that activity has fully ceased. With no way to purchase the game and the developer explicitly steering players to Shop Legends, Shop Heroes has been sunset.
