Shu launched on October 4, 2016 as a complete 2.5D platformer. After launch, Coatsink delivered two rounds of free post-launch content under the "Caverns of the Nightjars" banner: the first update on April 14, 2017 added 3 new levels, and a second update on May 24, 2017 added another 3 levels, new character combinations, collectibles, achievements, and time trial records. Both updates were delivered as promised — the April post explicitly noted "3 more to come on May 23rd," and that content shipped the following day. The store description now reflects this additional content ("'Caverns of the Nightjars' additional content"), indicating it has been fully incorporated into the game's package. No further content has been announced or teased since May 2017. The sole DLC listing is the original soundtrack, which released alongside the game. There have been no developer communications of any kind since May 24, 2017, and no outstanding commitments remain. The game appears to have shipped as a complete product with its post-launch content cycle now concluded.
