Silver Knight

Silver Knight has been in Early Access on Steam since January 15, 2016 — over a decade — and has never announced a 1.0 release date or a plan to leave Early Access. The developer, Wojciech Krupinski, has shipped 25 numbered updates over the game's lifetime, showing genuine ongoing work but at a highly irregular pace. After a cluster of updates in early-to-mid 2016, development went quiet for over six years before resuming with Update 24 on January 2, 2023 and Update 25 on July 16, 2023. The January 2023 post noted "soon will be a new update," but no further communication has appeared since July 16, 2023 — nearly three years of silence as of June 2026. There is no announced roadmap, no stated 1.0 target, and no explanation for the current silence. The game's store page still reflects Early Access status with no indication the developer considers it complete. Given the history of very long gaps between development bursts and the current extended silence, it is unclear whether further updates are still planned.
