SimpleRockets
Released Jun 2015
I am excited to release my first game on Steam! SimpleRockets was released in 2013 for mobile and I've put a ton of work into it to get it ready for PC and Mac. It was inspired by KSP, and it offers a simpler 2D experience for building rockets and exploring space with realistic orbital mechanics.

Evaluation
SimpleRockets is the original 2D rocket-building simulator from Jundroo, LLC, first released on mobile in 2013 and brought to Steam on June 3, 2015. The game launched as a complete, finished product — a polished port of a mobile title with no post-launch content roadmap, no DLC, and no season pass.
The developer's own news posts tell the story clearly: after bringing SimpleRockets to PC, Jundroo moved on to building its sequel. News posts from 2018 onward are entirely focused on SimpleRockets 2 (Steam App ID 870200) — previewing features, announcing release dates, and eventually shipping it in late 2018. A 2019 post celebrated SimpleRockets 2's mobile launch, and a 2021 post announced SimplePlanes VR, another separate Jundroo title. None of these posts reference any new content, patches, or updates for the original SimpleRockets.
There is no DLC listed for the game, no announced future content, and no developer communication suggesting updates are planned. The store description and short description present the game as a self-contained experience. Jundroo has clearly shifted its development focus to newer titles in its lineup. SimpleRockets shipped as a complete package and remains exactly that.
Evidence
SimpleRockets 2 launches on mobile, with a roadmap for continued SR2 development. No mention of updates for the original SimpleRockets.
Developer announces SimpleRockets 2 Steam page, signaling that Jundroo's active development focus has moved to the sequel.

About this game
CREATE
Connect parts together to build rockets. You can choose from a variety of rocket engines, fuel tanks, and other gizmos. You can even build rovers with powered wheels.
EXPLORE
Blast off from any planet you want. You can fly through the intense atmosphere of Venus, or you can take advantage of the low gravity of Mercury. Whip around the sun and launch yourself out to the far reaches of the solar system.
CHALLENGES
Several challenges are built into the game so you can have fun while learning about real rocket science. Challenge yourself to orbit with the least amount of fuel, land on the moon, and so much more.
PERSISTENT SANDBOX
Build space stations, moon bases, refueling stations, and more with support for multiple launches. Save your sandbox at anytime or upload it and share it with your friends.
ROCKET SCIENCE
Kepler wrote the equations 400 years ago, and SimpleRockets uses those equations to model extremely realistic orbital physics. Players will learn about rocket science and astrodynamics while they are having a blast exploring the solar system.
