Evaluation

Simson Tuningwerkstatt 3D launched on December 3, 2018 and has been continuously expanded with free content updates ever since. The developer has shipped at least six major content updates post-launch, establishing a clear and sustained pattern of roughly one to two significant updates per year: a Dyno/Custom Exhaust update in March 2020, the DUO vehicle update in February 2021, a Trabant 601 vehicle update in April 2022, two updates in early-to-mid 2023 (March and May), a Fameparts patch in February 2024, an Autumn update in October 2025, and most recently the 2026 Exhaust Pipes major update on March 8, 2026 — which also added Steam Deck support. As of today, October 8, 2026, the last major update was approximately seven months ago. The developer's established pattern shows major updates arriving roughly every 6–12 months, so the current gap is right at the edge of that window. The December 2024 Christmas beta post also previewed content that subsequently shipped, demonstrating the developer's ongoing habit of teasing and delivering new parts. No statement has been made indicating that development is concluding or that no further content is planned.
