Siren Head: Awakening

Siren Head: Awakening launched on October 30, 2020 as a free-to-play first-person horror game. After launch, the developer shipped one major content update — version 1.3 on December 16, 2020 — which added new endings, game modes, Steam achievements, and other features. A rework update (version 1.4) followed on March 19, 2021, overhauling the creature's behavior. The developer's most recent game update, on May 4, 2022, made older beta versions of the game accessible through Steam's beta branch — a minor archival release rather than new content. On October 30, 2021, the developer posted a first-anniversary message explicitly acknowledging they were unable to release new content for that Halloween and stated only that they "hope to be able to continue further development" — cautious and non-committal language that did not announce any specific upcoming content. After that, no further updates to Siren Head: Awakening were communicated beyond the May 2022 beta branch post. By June 2023, the developer had moved on to announcing an entirely new game (Paper Can't Fly), with no mention of future Siren Head: Awakening development. No unreleased DLC is listed on the store, no roadmap or future content has been announced, and there has been no developer communication about this game since May 4, 2022. The game appears to have reached its final state, having launched as a complete product with a small number of post-launch updates now concluded.
