Evaluation

Skala is a free-to-play puzzle game released on October 4, 2022. After launch, the developer issued one gameplay patch on October 11, 2022 to rework how keys function. That appears to be the last direct update to Skala itself. The developer's only subsequent news posts — from May and June 2024 — are announcements about a separate new game called BOND, not updates to Skala. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no roadmap, no announced future content, and no indication from the developer that Skala will receive further updates. The store description presents the game as a complete, self-contained experience with over 70 puzzle levels. Skala launched as a finished product and has received no meaningful post-launch content additions beyond an early bug-fix patch shortly after release.
Evidence
Developer announces a new separate game (BOND), not a Skala update — indicating the developer has moved on to a new project.

Second announcement post for BOND, again describing Skala as 'a bit janky' in passing — reinforcing that Skala is a prior completed work.

About this game

Skala is a game about changing the physical scale of things. You can make yourself large enough to step over a giant cliff, or make a key small enough to be passed through a solid wall. The game explores the consequences of this rescaling mechanic through simple yet difficult puzzles.

A level where you have to stretch yourself in order to reach a star.

Skala takes place in a graphically simple world with a big house and a star filled sky to explore. The world is covered by a relaxing soundtrack which let's you take in all of the games mechanics.

There are over 70 puzzle levels to play through. Every level is unique and has some purpose, whether it's introducing a new idea/mechanic, or developing on the concepts of previous levels.
